Material selection
An initial project walkthrough to discuss height, material, and privacy requirements. We will explore various options and considerations to ensure that your preferences are met and that the final outcome aligns perfectly with your vision.
Evaluating grade variations, soil conditions, utility locations, and property lines is a crucial step in the planning process. It involves a thorough analysis of the landscape to ensure that all factors are taken into account for optimal development and construction.
Detailed layout planning for fence design, board spacing, gate alignment, and custom post caps is essential for ensuring that the overall design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. By taking the time to meticulously plan these elements, we will achieve a cohesive look that enhances the beauty and usability of the space.
Selecting premium cedar, pressure-treated lumber, vinyl, chain link or aluminum components is essential for ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal in your construction projects. Each material offers unique benefits, such as the natural beauty of cedar, the strength of pressure-treated lumber, the low maintenance of vinyl, the versatility of chain link, and the modern look of aluminum.

Construction
Managing municipal permits and ensuring compliance with pool safety enclosure regulations is a critical responsibility that requires attention to detail, a thorough understanding of local regulations and the ability to navigate complex municipal processes. This role is essential in safeguarding public safety and ensuring that all installations meet the necessary legal standards.
We create all required plans, obtain permits, and manage the successful completion of all inspections with the municipality, ensuring that every step of the process is handled efficiently and effectively.
Digging below the frost line and setting post footings in high-strength concrete for permanent stability is a crucial step in ensuring the durability and longevity of any structure. This process provides a solid foundation and also helps to prevent issues related to frost heave and shifting soil, which can compromise the integrity of the fence over time.
We build foundations that endure over time:
Post holes are machine dug with heavy equipment that creates perfectly cylindrical holes that resist frost heave on the sides.
Our foundations are drilled down to 4' below grade except when bedrock is encountered.
We always pre-mix cement before pouring into the foundations avoiding inconsistencies and structural weakness that is common with the dry pour approach.
We create the ideal size foundations for optimal structural integrity following the engineering principle that the holes should be at least 3 times the diameter of the post itself:
Metal posts for chain link or vinyl are placed into 8-12" diameter holes containing around 330 lbs of cement per hole.
For our wood privacy fences, 4x4 posts are placed into 12" diameter holes containing around 396 lbs of cement per hole, and 6x6 posts are placed into 18" diameter holes containing around 924 lbs of cement per hole!
The finishing details matter, regardless of the fence style or material. From securely fastening wood fence panels and stringers to properly installing vinyl panels, aluminum sections and chain-link fabric, we take the time to ensure every component is correctly installed and supported. Gates receive the same attention, with properly sized posts, hinges, latches and custom hardware selected to suit the design and intended use.
Whether we're building a privacy fence, decorative wood fence, vinyl fence, aluminum picket fence or chain-link enclosure, the goal is the same: a finished fence that looks great, functions properly and is built to provide lasting strength, privacy and reliability.

Manufacturer Warranties
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and the materials we install. Every fence we build is covered by our standard one-year workmanship warranty, covering defects in our installation and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
For our fences constructed with 6x6 pressure-treated posts in 18" diameter holes 4' deep with over 900 lbs. of pre-mixed cement , we provide an industry-leading five-year No-Shift Post Warranty. This warranty covers movement or shifting of the 6x6 fence posts resulting from normal ground conditions and installation.
Manufacturer warranties also apply to the applicable fencing materials and components, including products such as vinyl, aluminum, chain link, hardware and other manufactured products. Where a material or component is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, we will assist with the warranty process as appropriate.
Our warranties are intended to cover workmanship and normal material performance. They do not cover damage, movement or failure resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme weather events, flooding, major ground movement, erosion, impacts, accidents, abuse, alterations by others, damage caused by third parties, failure of adjacent structures, or other abnormal conditions.
Normal weathering, aging, colour changes, surface deterioration and other characteristics inherent to particular fencing materials are also subject to the applicable manufacturer's specifications and warranties.
